Student Connection Guide
Before Launching Your Lesson (START HERE)
Here’s what you need to know before connecting…
Mobile Device Instructions
Smartphones and Tablets, including iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets and more.
Computer Instructions
Desktop, Laptop, or Chromebook. Mac or Windows PC.
Before Launching Your Lesson...
Check your internet speed. The minimum required speed for online lessons is 2 Mbps (or 2000 Kbps) for both upload and download speeds
Check your device battery. Make sure your battery is charged to at least 50% and PLUGGED IN!
Online lessons eat batteries for breakfast :) You’ll be surprised by how quickly your device will drain. Most devices will not operate well if your have less than 15% power and will start shutting down processes to conserve.
Silence your notifications! Turn on DO NOT DISTURB or FOCUS MODE on your device to prevent disruptions during the lesson.
More Tips:
Log in with ONE DEVICE ONLY (even if you normally use a second device to show your keyboard in other apps like Zoom)
DO NOT log in any earlier than 10 minutes ahead of schedule. You may be placed in a waiting room temporarily before joining.

Mobile Device Instructions

1. Download and Launch the appropriate app for your device (see links below)
2. Enter your Name.
3. Enter the lesson ID “pianobelloso” (one word, no spaces, all lower-case)
Computer Instructions
for Desktops, Laptops, or Chromebooks
Both Mac or Windows PC will both work
You must use Google Chrome as the browser (Download here). Currently, Chrome is the only fully supported browser. If you already have Chrome installed, make sure you have updated to the latest version.
